Our Story
Founded in late 2025 in Denver, Colorado.
Fairyokai started not in a boardroom or a design studio, but at a small wooden table in founder Dalecia’s Denver apartment. She had just come home from another long day, opened her jewelry box, and realized: nothing in there felt like her. Not because the designs were bad. Something was missing. A piece that could go from a morning meeting to a quiet dinner without feeling out of place. Polished, but not trying too hard.
That winter, Dalecia began sketching. Not with any grand plan - just a quiet urge to make something she actually wanted to wear. She bought a small batch of materials, learned from local artisans, and made the first few pieces by hand. Friends noticed. Then friends of friends. Before long, a small pop-up at a Denver holiday market sold out in two hours.
The name Fairyokai came later, during a late-night conversation. It sounds like a soft little spell: Fairy for a small, gentle kind of magic; Okai as a warm, soft echo of “OK” and “cute”. Together, they mean “a tiny bit of magic that just makes your day feel better.”
Dalecia didn’t set out to reinvent jewelry. She just wanted to create the pieces she’d always wanted to wear, but had never been able to find. Pieces that feel like a second skin. The ones you reach for without thinking - on ordinary mornings, busy afternoons, quiet nights.
Today, we're still based in Denver. Still asking the same question: does this feel just right?
Our Products

We believe good jewelry isn’t meant to be seen — it’s meant to be felt. It sways gently when you move, catches the light now and then, and quietly becomes part of you.
Our inspiration comes from three places: the soft, unforced curves of nature; the quiet strength of sculptural forms; and what we call “second-skin comfort” — jewelry you forget you’re wearing, but miss the moment you take it off.
What we use:
- Natural stones like agate, tiger eye, and jade
- Faux pearls with a soft, jade-like luster
- S925 sterling silver posts for sensitive ears
- High-quality copper with thick gold or silver plating
- Waxed cord, leather, wood beads, and Czech seed beads
How we make it:
Each piece goes through multiple handcrafted steps — from shaping to polishing to final assembly. We don’t take shortcuts. Because how a piece is made affects how it feels to wear. No overcomplicating, no excess. Just details that matter: the setting of a single zircon, the way a clasp feels when it closes, the curve of an earring that sits just right.
Our Packaging
Best packaging is the one that protects your jewelry, then quietly steps out of the way.
We believe good packaging should do two things: protect your jewelry, and not feel wasteful. That’s why we keep it simple by default. Every Fairyokai order arrives in a soft, reusable pouch — perfect for storage at home or on the go. We use minimal outer packaging, made from recycled materials whenever possible.
No unnecessary boxes. No plastic inserts. No extras you didn’t ask for.
